What's in my Makeup kit?

Some of the products (Mostly Charlotte Tilbury)

As a Makeup artist that travels a lot, there are variety of things in my kit. I like to have options and be prepared for unexpected moments, even though I plan in advance.

I will be sharing my favorite products, tips and recommendations so you have an easier planning process for your ideal kit.

Let’s start with the actual kit holder and all the tools that are so important if you’re on a job and want to present yourself as professional as possible.

First I have a makeup trolley that I ordered through Relavel it has all the necessary space I need.

It has several pockets and compartments which is great if you like things organized like me. They also do separate bags and add on bags which are great if you have more clients or are both makeup and hair stylist.

Skincare

Having a good skincare and skin preparation for me is vital. Only few years ago with experience I started to really focus on skin care products.

Skin care is your base for a perfect finish application and helps your skin to stay hydrated within, it also helps your makeup to move evenly and stay on for longer.

I try not to overfill my kit with big tubs or tubes with skincare products, as you will find it just creates unnecessary waste of space. Instead use small containers and tubs and transfers all your favorite products into those and label them accordingly.
